My Future Is Bright歌词
I still see, thru my same eyes
So my age, is hard to realize
I guess 70's, not so bad
95 is the age, of my dad
I have hypertension
And cataracts too sometimes my lips
And toenails turn blue
I try to walk, five miles a day
Some say my hair
Is turning gray
Walk to the next room
Can't remember why can't tie my shoes
No matter how I try called in sick
With eye trouble today
Can't see myself working
I want to play
Can no longer play tennis
Because of my med
So I have to play, ping pong instead
Not as much fun, but less of a threat
It's a lot easier
To jump over the net
I get tired, just watching sports on TV
Even playing checkers, gets the best of me
I try to cook, but can't remember how
Even McDonalds, delivers food now
I try to lose weight
It's so hard to do
Just pick up the phone
Food's coming to you
All the restaurants
Are on my speed dial
That weight loss diet
Can just wait for a while
KFC, has their bucket on sale
I get taters and slaw
And cold ginger ale call up Uber
To drive to their store
Have it delivered
Right to my door
Excuse me please
My dinner has arrived
I fasted all day
And now feel deprived
It feels so good
To take that first bite
Thru all of this
My future's bright
