I Can Still Drive I'm 75 and aging fast My peak in life has been surpassed I'm diabetic and can't eat sweets I'm getting tired of eating beets Four bypasses and a stint I see better when I squint My major joints have been replaced Please don't look at my old man waist I get confused from TIAs Sometimes my mind is in a haze I loose my balance and fall over I lift myself out of the clover I'm 75 and aging fast My peak in life has been surpassed I'm diabetic and can't eat sweets I'm getting tired of eating beets I have thick glasses so I can see Or when I walk I'd hit a tree I wear a hat in place of hair Three days a week I have home care My feet are cold and numb as can be I run to the restroom When I have to pee A torn retina in one eye Needless to say I'm not so spry If I was a pet they'd put me to sleep My heart monitor is starting to beep Thru all of this I'm still alive I still have a license and I can drive
